Utah FEMA Elevation Certificates
If your residential or commercial property is in or near a flood zone (Special Flood Hazard Area) in Utah, you may need an Elevation Certificate to determine your flood insurance rates or to obtain a building permit. REDCON provides accurate elevation surveys and completes the FEMA forms required by insurance agents and local officials.
- Elevation Certificates (FEMA Form 086-0-33)
- LOMA (Letter of Map Amendment) applications
- Flood zone verification
- Construction benchmark establishment
Why do I need one?
An Elevation Certificate documents the elevation of your building relative to the Base Flood Elevation (BFE). If your building is higher than the BFE, you may qualify for significantly lower insurance premiums or be removed from the mandatory insurance requirement (via LOMA).
